Mark's Interests
I have always had an interest in the latest technology and innovation, which is the driving force behind Magnetism. I grew up in on a farm south of the Bombay hills near Auckland. During my career I have worked all over New Zealand in varied roles in the medical, IT training and finance sectors prior to founding Magnetism in 2005. I worked at New Horizons Computer Learning centre from 1999 to 2005 and held roles as a trainer, sales manager, marketing manager, and general manager during this period. I am passionate about finding innovative ways for businesses to utilise software to become more successful and spend a lot of my time keeping up to date with the latest news and developments in this area.
I also have a great appreciation for the arts – particularly theatre, music and film. I love travelling and look forward to doing more of it in the future. The world is a big place and while my corner of it is stunningly beautiful, I know there is so much more to see which I look forward to exploring both personally and as Magnetism expands internationally.
