    CRM 2011: Lessons Learned


    There are many ways to learn about project management, many courses, short and long, that can teach you the ABC’s of the discipline.  However there is nothing like life to give you a good dousing of reality.  So I have begun reflecting on my experiences and decided to share my thoughts…to many of you I will not necessarily highlight anything new, but for me I have found that review is an essential element in any project and assists with continuous improvement, both for the individuals involved and for company practice.

    It is about time I wrote another update and what better timing than at the completion of our sprints for this project….but wait…..the finish line has moved!

    Dynamics CRM 2011 –Sprints: turning around quick and fast!

    This week my blog was inspired by this cartoon – I found it a clever depiction of the internal thoughts of so many people that work in a high pressure environment, trying to balance resource utilisation, customer requirements and office politics.

    We are into week two of our project with overlapping sprints and it has been a busy week. I feel that we are well planned for these sprints, in regards to resource allocation and defining the tasks required. Furthermore our daily scrums are helping to keep my team and the client’s team in sync.
