Microsoft Dynamics CRM R8 Social Activity Feed Enhancements

    Activity Feed Enhancements

Microsoft has added more functionality into the Activity Feeds of Dynamics CRM that was released in R7 last year.  This is driven by a demand from people that want to have micro blogging built into the CRM to enhance collaboration.

Activity Feeds will be enhanced with the following:

    • “Like” posts (similar to Facebook)
    • “Unlike” posts
    • Improved Filtering Capabilities (for example if you applied the @me filter you would only see posts that mention you)
    • Filter posts based on types of records
    • Filters can be based on data views configured in Dynamics CRM
